Matthew 24:35-"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."
This is one of my favorite verses in the scriptures and I love these words that were spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ. When I think about this verse I ask myself this question. What do you have that will last? The answer is not much when we consider this in an earthly sense. However we do have something that will last and that is the love you have for God and his children, the praise you offer him, and the Word he has spoken to use through his Spirit, the prophets, and his Son, Jesus. Continue to invest in these things and you will never be without lasting profit!
