National Day of Prayer

Today, May 1st is the National Day of Prayer which is set aside as a time for our country to come together and thank God for His grace and mercy on our country and to ask God's blessing and protection to our nation. I will be joining our city mayor and many other ministers and fellow dignitaries of the community in prayer this morning. In this year of 2008 we desperately need to seek God's face, not just today but everyday of the year. God bless you and take time today to seek the Lord in prayer. Remember, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." (Proverbs 14:34)
